Farah Mendlesohn is editor of Foundation, the International Review of Science Fiction. Her recent books include Diana Wynne Jones and the Children's Fantastic Tradition, and the Cambridge Companion to Science Fiction, for which she won the Hugo in 2005. Her book, Rhetorics of Fantasy, will be out from Wesleyan University Press within the next twelve months, and she is currently writing a book on science fiction for children, for McFarland Press.
