Denise Kitashima Dutton, Senior Reviewer, is a native of the Washington, D.C. area and spends most of her time making one-liners to her friends, who are probably sick of this by now. She adores horror movies, but is always surrounded by people who canít stand them. Probably karmic payback for the one-liners.

Her musical tastes are varied, and it is hard to pin her down to just one style. The radio in her car is tuned to rock, rap, country and classic rock stations. Her dream is to get The Grateful Dead together just one more time. One last concert by Frank Zappa or Warren Zevon would also do nicely, thank you. Her taste in reading materials is just as varied, and she usually ends up reading whatever someone else has just finished. When left to her own devices, she reads horror, historical nonfiction (Alison Weir is a favorite) and childrenís literature (which is horribly underrated, in her opinion).

Denise enjoys piña coladas and getting caught in the rain. She has often been called a "jack of all trades, master of none," and has finally decided to take that as a compliment. She believes that knowing everything about a subject deprives you of the joyous wonder that learning something new brings.

She shares custody of two cats with her house-mates. You can write to her here .
