After spending his formative years in northeastern Tennessee, Craig Clarke, Senior Writer, now lives 850 miles away in Massachusetts and feels much more at home, much to the chagrin of his son's grandparents.

He lives with his wife, son, and far too many pets, spending what free time remains reading, writing, watching movies, listening to music, and updating his Web site -- often simultaneously in order to make up time.

Craig's favorites include: F. Paul Wilson, Max Allan Collins, Richard Matheson, Ed Gorman, Joe R. Lansdale, John Updike, Isaac Asimov mysteries, The Microphones, Beck, Jethro Tull concept albums, The Saw Doctors, Orson Welles, pre-Frankenstein Kenneth Branagh, Roman Polanski, the Marx Brothers, and the Newman & Redford films directed by the late, great George Roy Hill.

Effusive praise may be lavished here and those interested in his writing will find a list of all the reviews he has written for GMR here.
